Hello, i want to use a push button to run a program on the Raspberry Pi 4. For example, when I just click the button I want the program to run, I don't want the user to keep holding the button, I just need them to press it once and then my Python program will run. What button should I order (if anyone has any experience) and if anyone has some good circuit configuration to connect the button to the GPIO pins, i'm not that experienced in the electrical side of things. Thank you!

so get a breadboard and gpio kit that involves a button

ludus_0

thought this was normal size?

There are several sizes of breadboards. I have seen many used in different schools, one used the large one and another the mid size and a third a smaller version? My point is there are no normal.

Sparkfun have an assortment that fits breadboards
