First time Raspberry PI user, I can't seem to boot into my Raspberry Pi, installed PIOS, and first boot shows "Generating SSH Keys," and then "Rebooting in 5" I get into CLI for a second, before the signal terminates. Nothing happens from then on. Specs:Raspberry Pi Zero 0W with Raspberry PI OS Legacy 32x Lite. I have tried using Kali Linux, with success. I full reformatted an SD card with NOOBS installed, and installed the operating system

I am not sure why you repeats the question? You have to wait, as it first boots and create SSH keys and installs the OS. Then it reboots automatically and resize the filesystem and after that it reboots again. And now you should be able to start using the Pi.

It rebooted the first time, and the CLI showed, and during that, the HDMI signel cuts out, and trying to turn the power on and off again just repeats from the CLI, without being able to get into the system. Here's some videos

Also something bugged out and showed that instead of the full message, so thats why it repeated

The black screen then cuts to "No signal"

Run the imaging of the SD card again so you have a fresh SD card and then power it on and wait for 5 minutes.

Ran it, went to generating the SSH keys, and then rebooted. Briefly saw a rainbow image before the screen going black, and, for a split second, seeing the "Welcome to raspberry pi", before the HDMI lost signal. It's been about 10 minutes, and no signal has returned, anything else I should do?

The light is solid on

Either you have a bad SD card or a bad Pi, can you test with another SD card?

lordseriouspig

Sure. I've tried it with Kali Linux, and the CLI worked fine, I didnt try get the GUI working

lordseriouspig

Do you want me to send you a video of the Pi while its booting? I can't decipher the LED

Yes post a video here

Oop, thank for your help, I managed to figure out the problem, I think it was a resolution issue, I tried the same install and sd on a different Pi, with success, and managed to get Kali Linux with desktop working. Thanks for your help, I greatly appreciate it 🙂
